Dear, parents. Today we covered some Wonders, although students told me some pages were already finished. We did the first two pages no problem. However, when we came to the last two, it was already filled out. I'm not sure why, and will try work that out tomorrow. Today we had experience class, which seemed to go okay. Students seem to enjoy learning about Africa art patterns and making their paperplate necklaces. The only issue was with some students standing up and walking around instead of working on their own project. I repeatedly asked them to wait until break and go back to their seats. Sadly, I eventually shouted to tell them to sit down. This worked, but I don't feel comfortable having to raise my voice so much for a few students who wouldn't follow the rule. Also, students should bring home their written exam papers today. I'm sure you will be as happy as I am with the results. I believe next time will be even better. Especially, if the video reading of the stories helps students remember key points that may be on the exams. 🙏🤍
